Pair of Vintage Iridescent Art Glass Epergne Vases in Silver-Plated Bases

Lovely pair of art glass vases set in silver-plated bases made circa 1920s-1940s. The iridescent marigold glass inserts taper in color and shape. Beautiful coloration with orange on top and clear on the bottom. They were likely hand blown into a mold and the edges fluted manually with tongs.

Both are in excellent condition. No chips or cracks that I could see or feel. The silver-plated bases are in good shape overall.

No dents or scratches, however, the metal is thin and the silver plating shows wear. I polished them up and they have a nice patina, but it's not perfect. Also, they will tarnish again over time. Personally, I like the tarnished look. Markings: Neither the glass nor the silver bases are marked. It's common that early glassmaker pieces were not identified. Dimensions: 6.25" tall, 3" across glass vase top, and 2.75 across bottom of base. Would look lovely on the table, buffet, or anywhere you want a splash of color.
