Northwood, Electric Amethyst, Grape & Cable WithThumbprint, 4 Pc. Carnival Glass W

Here we have, a beautiful, four piece water set, by Northwood. It is their Grape & Cable w/thumbprint pattern, in electric amethyst. I have been looking for years to find three more tumblers to match these, with no luck. So I have decided to pass the set on to another person to enjoy, and hunt for the other tumblers. Part of the joy of collecting is finding other pieces as nice as these. Fantastic color on all pieces, with lots of blue, and lavender, and gold. I have two other complete sets of this, but not as pretty as this one. If I had the other pieces, this. Guess I have been collecting too long!

The pitcher measures 8 1/4" high, 8" wide from spout to handle, and has a 4 1/2 base. The tumblers measure 4 1/4" high, 3 1/8" wide, and have a 2 1/2 base. The tumblers are marked, but the pitcher isn't. They are all in fantastic condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

The pitcher has what looks like a collapsed bubble on one of the thumbprint edges, which I show. In one of the photos. It is iridescent, and is not a chip or nick.

This is as pretty a set that I have seen in over 35 years of collecting.
