Made in the USA during the 1920's with the Iron Crossed Imperial mark on bottom... This flawless piece has a lovely stretch glass iridescent exterior colors on amethyst color glass.. Light signs of previous use should be expected consistent with age- a clean example - free of chips, cracks, restorations..

The imperial mark: Exact Date Unknown - Application was filed on May 19, 1920 for the'Iron Cross' and Unknown'IM PE RI AL' used in combination. Approval was granted on August 16, 1921. This mark was in use sometime prior to the date of filing the application. The Company ceased using this mark in the late 1920's.. It became a subsidiary of Lenox, Inc. The Imperial glass preferred by the collector is freehand art glass, carnival glass, slag glass, stretch glass, and other top-quality tablewares. Just re-package in its original packaging materials, box and insured (or similar in size).. The items I sell are vintage, antique pieces and have been previously owned - these are not new store bought items...I also do my best to give detailed information on the vintage items. Keep in mind they are vintage (old) and will have flaws. If item is damaged, SAVE ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS and BOX for photo taking..
