Approximate Dimensions: 8.75" (Diameter) 2.75 " (High) 3.625 (Base Diameter). This is a spectacular marigold carnival glass ruffled bowl with ribbed back and pink tones featuring the pattern " Good Luck " made by the Harry C. Northwood Glass Company of Wheeling, West Virginia, circa 1908.
The iridescence is rich with a soft pastel feel and lots of pink and light purple. The pattern is very well-articulated. No chips, cracks, or repairs. There are the usual internal air bubbles and straw marks (shearing and crimping tool marks) commonly associated with the hand manufacturing of old carnival and opalescent glass. Each piece of old carnival glass is unique, no two are exactly alike. A great find and would make a wonderful gift. Please see photos directly below.
