Antique Fenton Persian Medallion Amethyst Iridescent Candy Dish

Stunning piece of antique Fenton glass - the Fenton name is embossed on the base, and the original sticker which says. Handmade Fenton' remains on the glass (see photos). I was surprised that it said'Hand Made' because I believe this to. Be an antique factory piece. There are seams in the glass.

The colors and the iridescent finish really make this piece special. It is a pedestal candy dish, 6.75 inches tall.

The pattern is known as'Persian Medallion'. The top edges of the dish are ruffled and fluted.

The piece is in mint condition. When the light hits the iridescent glass, many shades of color are seen --> purple, gold. The diameter of the top of the dish is 5.5 inches at the widest point.
