Fenton sometimes used this pattern in combination with other patterns such as Panther or Peacock Feather, but this set is all Butterfly and Berry inside and out. I love the iridescence of the marigold carnival finish. I like the 3-Toed feature, with claw-and-ball feet at the edge of each of the 3 form sections. The nifty feet do make the bowls only slightly stackable though. This set would have originally come with 6 small bowls, so someone over the years has collected two extras.
8 of the 9 pieces are in EXCELLENT condition with no chips or cracks or other faults that I can see or feel. But for one small bowl which seems like a factory second. All the other bowls have been re-heated after forming to make the saw-tooth edges rounded and smooth, except for this one, which has sharp-feeling edges at the saw-tooth rim and sharp pips outside the bowl at the seams where the forms came together. I showed these with an arrow in the pictures. Look again at the last picture, which shows the color variation among the bowls: The bottom right bowl is the "factory second" and is also lighter in color. This one bowl may even be a later more modern production by Fenton or an imitation from Korea. Berry Serving Bowl: 8 1/2" Diameter x 4 1/4" Tall.
Individual Bowls: 4 7/8" Diameter x 2 3/8" Tall.
