For your consideration is this antique carnival glass bowl produced by Imperial Glass. This pattern, titled "Lustre Rose", was made by Imperial in the 1915 to 1918 era and mostly known as a carnival glass pattern in nearly 20 shapes. Reproductions of this pattern are marked with an "IG", this one is not (Standard Encyclopedia of Pressed Glass, 3rd Ed, 1860 - 1930 Identificacation & Values by Bill Edwards & Mike Carwile). This piece is quite unique with a separate pressed glass pattern on the outside than the pressed pattern on the inside.... Like two pieces stamped separately and pressed together.
The green glass has a beautiful iridescent lustre. The bowl has ruffled sides, horizontal lines on the rim, and scalloped edge.
The bowl measures 11.25 inches in diameter x 3.9 inches tall. The piece is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or abrasions observed.
